Her legacy |
Lizzie Mae Wiggings Where do I begin? How do you write the legacy of an angel? I don't know, but I'll try.
Aunt Liz gave her life to God at a fairly young age and Thank God she did.
From her committment to the Lord, my parents, Sylvester and Gillie found salvation, a life free from willful sin. They are just a couple of people that were touched by her life.
Just reading the tributes, condolences, and memorial candales lit in her favor, brings tears to my eyes. Actually I don't have to write another line. If you knew her that is the legacy in itself.
Aunt Liz was strong, caring, kind, meek, humble.....simply a saint of God. We talk about being saved, but she really was and it has affect my life in a significant way and I'm sure its touched many other too.
I can NEVER remember her saying a bad word about anybody and I've seen her being done wrong.....what did she do.....what Jesus did.....took it patiently.
The reason we all love her so much and hated to see her go was because she is a rare jewel and no one can fill her shoes, but one thing we all can be happy about.......Lizzie Mae Wiggins is in Heaven. I have NO doubt about that!!!!
May her legacy live on and continue to touched others lives.
